Psychosocial Risk Assessment Toolkit, HSE Management Standards, ISO 45003, Editable (Digital Download)
Turn psychosocial risk from a vague worry into a structured, auditable process. Score it, see it, act on it, and have the conversation that matters — all in one editable toolkit built around HSE's Management Standards and ISO 45003.
THE FIVE-TIER HIERARCHY
The toolkit is built on the HartfellCo Psychosocial Hierarchy of Control — the same hierarchy you already apply to physical risk, applied to the design of work:
- Eliminate — remove the hazard from the work
- Substitute or redesign — change how the work is done
- Engineer at source — staffing, systems, span of control, handover
- Administrative — role clarity, escalation, workload caps, communication
- Individual protection — EAP, counselling, resilience and coping support
Tier 5 is the PPE of psychosocial risk: legitimate, sometimes essential, always last. If every action on your plan sits at tier 5, you have a welfare offer rather than a risk register. The Action Plan tab is where tier 1-4 controls become owned, dated actions.
