This HartfellCo course explains the duty to manage asbestos in non-domestic premises and the common parts of multi-occupancy buildings in Great Britain. It is built around one rule: Know it. Mark it. Part one is for dutyholders and the people who run buildings: find out what is there (a survey, or presume it), record it in the asbestos register, and manage it with a written plan. Part two is for anyone about to put a tool to a building: check it, stop it, tell it. Three real cases published by HSE, summarised in our own words, show what goes wrong when surveys are not acted on, assessments are not reviewed, or work starts on the word "there is no asbestos". It explains the survey types but does not replace HSE's survey guide HSG264 or a competent surveyor.

This is awareness-level training, in plain English and fully editable. It does not train anyone to work with or remove asbestos.
